SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023-24):
- Against Siena on Jan. 14, she placed first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.09 and also placed first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:26.29.
- Against UConn (12/09/23) she placed second in the 200 breast with a time of 2:25.35 and fourth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:08.36.
- At the Harold Anderson Invitational she placed 13th in the 100 breast with a time of 1:06.73.
- She set a personal best in the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.30 at the 2024 America East Championships while also setting a personal best in the 50 breast with a time of 30.57.
FIRST YEAR SEASON (2022-23):
- She earned her first collegiate victory in the 100 breast finishing in a time of 1:09.21 in the meet with Merrimack (Oct. 8).
- At The Harold Anderson Invitational (Nov. 18) she placed 10th in the 100 breast with a season best time of 1:06.20, which is the seventh fastest in program history … Also, she placed fourth in the 200 breast with the fifth best time in program history in a time of 2:21.96.
- At the Middlebury Invitational (Jan. 27) she was a part of the 400 medley relay team that set the Vermont first year record finishing in a time of 3:53.90.
- At the America East Championship, she placed eighth in the 200 breast coming in at a time of 2:23.89 and she finished in a time of 1:06.77 in the 100 breast which was good for 12th … She was also a part of the women’s first year program record 200 medley relay finishing in a time if 1:46.87 at the America East Championship (Feb. 22).
BEFORE VERMONT: Attended Germantown Academy in the Inter-Academic League where she was a four-year member of the swimming team … Her main event is the breaststroke … Was a two-year captain for her squad during the 2020-21 and 2021-22 season … Won the 2021-22 Inter-Academic Championship with an undefeated season … Her team was named the 2021-22 Easterns Champions … Won the Donald S. Beard Award in 2021-22 and was named a swimming All-American at the end of the 2022 season … Holds the record for 200 women’s medley relay at Germantown … Chose UVM because of the perfect blend of academic and athletic excellence, along with the beauty of the campus and Burlington … Plans on majoring in in Biology.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jennifer and Matthew Acker … Has five siblings, including sister Gabrielle who swims for the University of Delaware … Father Matt played basketball at Harvard.
