SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023-24):
- At the 2024 America East Championships she earned three personal bests and was a part of two Vermont Varsity record holding relay teams in the 200 medley and 200 free relay.
- At the 2024 America East Championships she also placed second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.07 and 10th in the 50 free with a time of 23.70.
- At the 2024 ECAC Championships she placed fourth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:02.58 to set a Vermont varsity record.
FIRST YEAR SEASON (2022-23):
- In her first collegiate meet she placed seventh in the 50 Breast (32.74) against Northeastern (Sept. 24).
- She came in 15th in the 200 Breast (2:28.98) in the Harold Anderson Invitational (Nov. 18).
- At the NJIT Invitational she placed 11th in the 100 back finishing with a season-best time of 1:01.94 and also finished 13th in the 400 IM finishing in a time of 4:54.88.
- At the 2023 America East Championship she finished with a season best 59.25 in the 100 back placing 17th and she was a part of the 200 medley relay team that set a Vermont first year’s record with a time of 1:46.87 … She was also a part of the 400 free relay team that placed fourth in a time of 3:26.91 … At those America East Championships, she also finished tied for seventh in the 50 free with a time of 23.97 and was a part of the 200 free relay team that placed fourth with a time of 1:35.02 … She also took home her best finish placing fourth in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.98, which is the second best time in program history.
BEFORE VERMONT: Attended Indian Hills High School in Oakland, New Jersey … A four-year member of the swimming team … Participates in the breaststroke and freestyle … Placed third in Bergen County twice (2020 and 2022) … Personal best times include 1:04.76 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:22.64 in the 200 breaststroke, and 24.86 in the 50 freestyle … Was named to the first team all division three times (2019, 2020, 2022) … Second team all-county twice (2020 and 2022) and third team all-county once (2019) … Was named to the High Honor Roll in all marking periods … Chose UVM because she loved the campus and town as well as the swim team and coaches … Plans on majoring in Animal Science.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Robyn and Ignazio Fazio … Has three siblings, including brother Kenny who plays football at UNH.
