JUNIOR SEASON (2023-24):
- At the 2024 America East Championships she earned two personal bests in the 50 free (24.39) and the 200 back (2:04.03).
- Her time in the 200 back was good for eighth place while she also earned a fourth place finish in the 100 back with a time of 55.80.
- At the 2024 America East Championships she served as the first swimmer of the 200 medley relay team that sent a Vermont varsity record with a time of 1:42.47 to finish fourth.
- At the Harold Anderson Invitational she set a personal best in the 50 back with a time of 25.93 to qualify for the CSCAA National Invitational.
- At the CSCAA National Invitational she competed in the 50 back, 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay.
- She earned 10 top 10 finishes this season including her season-best placement of first in the 100 back at the CSCAA Time Trials (55.36).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022-23):
- Shares the 400 medley relay Vermont Varsity record with Natalie Schlemmer, Hally Laney and Jackie House finishing in a time of 3:44.76 at the 2023 America East Championship.
- At the 2023 America East Championship, she placed 21st in the 50 free with a time of 25.45, seventh in the 100 back with a time of 57.13, set the third fastest time in Vermont program history in the 100 back with a time of 55.95 and placed 11th in the 200 back with a season best time of 2:05.39.
FIRST YEAR SEASON (2021-22): She shares the first year 200 medley relay record with Ellie Russin, Cassie Woodson, and Charlie Ramey with a final time of 1:47.51 … In the 100 free her season-best was a time of 56.36 at the dual meet with Army and Binghamton on Oct. 1 … Her best time in the 50 free was 25.12 and in the 50 back it was 26.71 … Set a first year record in the 100 back with a time of 56.76 placing fourth … Finished the 200 back in 10th pace coming in at a time of 2:05.11 at the 2022 America East Championships on Feb. 10.
BEFORE VERMONT: Attended Cathedral Catholic Highschool, Del Mar California where she was a part of the swim team all four years, earning a Varsity letter … A part of the team that won the conference in 2017-2018 ... During her sophomore year (2019) she went to states for the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay … She swam for Rancho San Dieguito and Team Elite Stingrays.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Dana and Rich Torykian … Dana went to UC Santa Barbara and Rich went to Yale University where he participated in both Lacrosse and Football as a Varsity athlete ... Has one sibling Trey … She chose UVM because of the academics, location, and the swim team … Intends on majoring in Health and Society.
