BEFORE VERMONT: Smith comes to Vermont from Toronto, Ontario where she attended Lawrence Park Collegiate Institute … At Lawrence Park CI, Smith played Soccer from 2021-2023 as a Goalkeeper and Flag Football from 2022-2024 as a Quarterback … Smith was a 2023-24 MVP, Captain, and City Champion.  
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kristine Pesut and Richard Smith … Plans on majoring in Business … Has an older sibling, Kendra, who plays Women’s Rowing at Jacksonville University … Smith chose UVM because of the high level of academics, athletics, and the perfect fit culturally on and off the field … Her biggest influence as an athlete is Canadian Goalkeeper, Stephanie Labbe, after she helped Canada win the 2020 Olympics in penalties … Smith recalls her favorite movie being “Hitman’s Bodyguard” while her favorite TV Show is “Friends” … Smith’s most enjoyed athlete to watch is Mary Earps, an English professional soccer player who also plays the goalkeeper position.
