BEFORE VERMONT: Hardesty (pronounced hard-es-tee) comes to UVM after a five-year career at Dobbs Ferry High School ... She made the varsity roster as an eighth grader and played defense for two and a half years before moving to the forward line ... She was a four-time all-league selection and earned all-section honors as a junior and senior ... A two-time team captain, Hardesty finished her career with\r\n30 goals and nine assists in two seasons at forward ... Also played basketball and was a member of the track team at Dobbs Ferry High School.
