AS A SENIOR (2013): Started the final nine games of the season, taking over for an injured Ally Ramos … Went 3-4-2 … Posted a season-high seven saves at UMBC … Made six saves in a 2-1 double-overtime win at Binghamton that clinched a playoff berth for the Catamounts … Was credited with five stops in the America East Quarterfinal game at Hartford.
AS A JUNIOR (2012): Appeared in two games … Combined with Ally Ramos for a shutout against Central Connecticut.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Came off the bench at Boston U in her only minutes of the season.

BEFORE VERMONT: Nichols came to Vermont from Clayton Valley High School in Concord, Calif. where she was a four-year member of the team as a goalkeeper ... She served as team captain as a senior and posted 14 shutouts and a 0.552 goals against average in her final season, leading Clayton Valley to the DVAL League Championship for the second straight year ... Nichols also earned DVAL All-League honors as a junior and senior.
