PERSONAL: Daughter of Karen and Matthew McGuire … Has three siblings, Ben who attends URI, Marykate who played for Duke & Ole Miss women’s soccer, Timothy who played baseball at Sacred Heart, and Emma Martin… Plans on majoring in Secondary Education … She chose UVM because of “the sense of community. Between the coaches and players, it felt like a family.” … McGuire’s biggest influence as an athlete is her sister. “She’s inspired me my whole life as she played soccer at both the collegiate and professional level.” She chose number 12 because it was her sister’s number.
