BEFORE VERMONT: Farrell comes to Vermont from Cheshire, Connecticut, where she attended Cheshire High School … At Cheshire, Farrel played Soccer from 2021-2025 as a Defender and ran Track from 2022-2024 … Farrell was a 2024 All-State and All-Conference honoree.  
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Christine and Patrick Smith … Plans on majoring in Public Health Science … Has two older brothers, Daniel and Ryan… Ryan currently competes for the Louisville Track & Field and Cross Country teams … Farrell chose UVM because of how friendly everyone is and the beauty of the campus. The culture on the soccer team and around campus made it feel so welcoming.
