JUNIOR SEASON (2024): Appeared in 12 games, earning two starts for Vermont ... DeGroot recorded three points on one goal and one assist ... She recorded 457 total minutes played. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023): Appeared in 15 games, earning two starts for Vermont … She recorded a career-high five goals on two assists while also recording a career-high 12 points … Scored a goal against New Hampshire in the America East Quarterfinal (10/30/23).

FIRST YEAR SEASON (2022): Played in all 16 games for Vermont serving as a key reserve, playing in at least 20 minutes in all the games she appeared in … Recorded three points on the season with a goal and an assist … She grabbed her first collegiate assist against Merrimack (8/21/22) and netted her first collegiate goal with the equalizer against UAlbany (10/27/22) … On the season, she registered 12 total shots with nine of them on target … DeGroot recorded a career-high two shots on goal on two separate occasions at Merrimack (8/21/22) and at Bryant (9/25/22).

BEFORE VERMONT: She comes to UVM from Lake Oswego, Oregon where she attended Oswego High School … During her career at Oswego, DeGroot played soccer and was a member of the Track & Field team all four years … She was a state champion for the 4 x 100 in 2021. DeGroot’s senior year she was named to first-team All-State in soccer and track.  

PERSONAL: Daughter of Cliff and Mary DeGroot … Has one sibling, Nicholas who attended UCSD … Plans on majoring in Exercise Science … She chose UVM because of “it’s beautiful location in New England and for its academic program in exercise science.” DeGroot’s biggest influence as an athlete is her father. “He was my first coach and is forever my biggest supporter.” … Her favorite movie is Interstellar … Degroot’s favorite athlete to watch is Sophia Wilson … Her favorite sports team is the Portland Thorns.
