AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Named to the America East All-Rookie Team ... Led the team in scoring with 11 points on five goals and one assist ... Became the eighth freshman on the program's history to lead the team in scoring ... Played in 18 games, earning 13 starts ... Scored the game-winner in overtime to lift UVM past Rider in her collegiate debut ... Also netted the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Binghamton.
BEFORE VERMONT: Marks comes to Vermont from Penfield High School, where she was a five-year varsity starter ... A forward/midfielder, she served as team captain as a junior and senior, and was the ESPN Rise Players to Watch List in her final season … Marks, who earned NSCAA/Adidas All-Region Team honors, was named to the all-county team three straight years and was the county co-player of the year as a senior ... She also earned All-Greater Rochester honors twice and she was selected to the all-state team as a senior ... Marks led Penfield to the NYS Section V Championship in 2006 and 2009, scoring the game-winning goal in both championship games ... She was named the NYS Section V Tournament MVP as a senior and led the team to the NYS Regional Championship in 2009 … She finished her career with 24 goals and 15 assists.
