GRADUATE SEASON (2023): Murphy started in 13 games for Vermont … She registered seven wins with a .772 save percentage … She finished with 61 saves on the season which tied her career high from 2022 … Registered a season-high nine saves against Sacred Heart which also matched a career high from 2022 … Finished with two shutouts against UMBC (10/8/23) and UAlbany (10/26/23). 

SENIOR SEASON (2022): Played in 15 games for UVM and started 14 of them … She recorded four clean sheets in the 2022 season … She recorded 61 saves during the season … Murphy made a season high nine saves in a win at Sacred Heart (8/18/22) … She registered a .701 save percentage and allowed one or less goals nine times … She played all 90 minutes 10 times and saw action in 1162 total minutes for the Catamounts.

HIGH SCHOOL: Murphy comes to Burlington from Wantagh, NY, where she served as the goalkeeper for the Albertson Fury under Coach Paul Riley. During that time, Murphy''s ability to shut down opposing offenses led the Fury to a NYCSL State Cup Championship as well as NEWSS Tournament Champions in 2017. Additionally, Murphy helped lead the Fury to an appearance in the 2017 USCS Nationals Cup in 2017. Murphy played her high school soccer at Wantagh High, serving three years as a captain for the Warriors. During her senior campaign, Murphy set a career-high in saves (138) minutes played (1,412) and games started (16), and was named the AB1 conference goalie of the year.

PERSONAL: Born September 28, 2001… daughter of Jim and Danna Murphy… has a brother James and sister Kristin… favorite food is steak… enjoys listening to rap and pop music… Connor McGregor is her favorite athlete… lists Miracle as her favorite movie… chose UB because of the coaching staff, competitive atmosphere and the program’s values… her dream as a college athlete is to become an All-American… plans to major in business.
