Brad Keller

Brad Keller

The 2017 season marks Brad Keller's second as an assistant coach at Vermont.

The 2016 Catamounts made their second consecutive trip to the semifinal round of the America East Tournament, a first for the program. Three players earned America East honors – Sarah Martin landed was a Second Team All-Conference selection while Julia Smith and Brooke Jenkins made the All-Rookie Team. It marked the 12th straight season where a new Cat had garnered All-Rookie honors. In net, junior keeper Coco Speckmaier finished the season tied for the ninth-best goals-against average in program history at 1.05. She also cracked the top-10 in shutouts (6) and shattered the minutes played record (1,802).  

Keller came to Vermont after one season as a member of the women's soccer coaching staff at the University of New Mexico.
 
Keller has a rich soccer background. He served as the girl's head coach at Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona from 2013-15 and was head coach of multiple teams for the Sereno Soccer Club from 2012-15.
 
A native of Scottsdale, Keller played one year of professional soccer for his hometown Phoenix FC Wolves of the United Soccer League in 2013 and also competed for the Centro de Alto Rendimiento Futbol Club in Cancun, Mexico.
 
Keller played collegiately at the University of Washington from 2007-10. He appeared in 64 games, in the Huskies' backfield. He earned All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention honors in 2008 and 2009 and was a two-time Academic All-Pac-10 selection in 2009 and 2010.
