JUNIOR SEASON (2016): Played in all 19 games ... Made 17 starts

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015): Saw action in 17 games including 16 starts ... Helped anchor the Vermont defensive unit ... Registered an assist in a win over Maine.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014): Saw action in 16 games ... Earned nine starts, including the final five games of the year.

BEFORE VERMONT: Monaghan, a defender, played scholastically at Montclair High School where she was the Newark Star Ledger's Essex County Player of the Year in 2013 ...  Was also named to the 2013 MSG Varsity First Team All-New Jersey and was an all-state player ...  Earned back-to-back All-Essex Country First Team honors and was a nominee for the New Jersey State "Best Defender" honor in 2012 and 2013 ... Was the recipient of the Montclair High School Matt Reissig Memorial Award for overall career contributions and earned the team's "best defender" award twice ... Played her club soccer with Matchfit Academy ECNL and won the USYS National League Championship in 2013 ...  The team also captured the USYS 2011 Region 1 Championship and were four-time New Jersey State Champs (2009-2012) ... Also brings international playing experience to the Catamounts having played on the Ireland National U19 and U17 teams ...  Was the youngest member of the U19 player pool and has played in the team's World Cup qualifiers and other international contests.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Kevin Monaghan and Hilary Walsh ... Has two older siblings - Rory and Molly ... Also played lacrosse at Montclair High School ... Is a psychology major.
