Before Vermont: Joins the Catamounts after graduating from Poly Prep Country Day School in
2026… Competed in Cross Country, Basketball and Lacrosse in high school… Was named MVP
2025 for lacrosse, was a captain junior and senior year for lacrosse, a captain senior year for basketball,
and won the 2026 NYSAIS championship (first time is program history)... Was also 4x first team

Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Anna Klauss… Has one older sister Julia who graduated from
Cornell Univeristy… Her biggest influence is her dad, “My dad is my biggest influence, he
coached me in lacrosse and basketball growing up and knows how to push me to my fullest
potential while also being my biggest supporter.”... Chose UVM because, “I wanted to be
somewhere where I could balance being a student and an athlete. When I met the girls on the
lacrosse team, everyone was so welcoming, and I could tell right away that UVM had the perfect
balance of academics, lacrosse, and a great community that uplifts and supports each
other.”... Something people may not know about her, “ I'm a duel-citizen and can speak
Italian"
