AS A JUNIOR (2011): Started all 17 games ... Named to the America East All-Conference Second Team ... Ranked 25th in the country in caused turnovers per game (1.65) ... Led the team with 28 caused turnovers ... Also collected 33 ground balls, including five versus Boston College ... Enters her senior season ranked eighth all-time at Vermont in ground balls (92).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010): Named to America East All-Conference First Team ... Ranked among the national leaders in caused turnovers, finished the season with a team-high 31 ... Started all 15 games ... Recorded 37 ground balls.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009): Saw action in all 17 games and earned 13 starts on defense … Finished the year with 22 ground balls, 11 draw controls and 12 caused turnovers ... Named the team's Most Improved Player.

BEFORE VERMONT: Izzo comes to Vermont from Longmeadow High School and led the team to three straight Western Massachusetts Championships ... As a midfielder, she anchored the Longmeadow defensive unit that led Western Massachusetts in team defense for three consecutive seasons, including a 2.95 goals against average in 2007 ... Izzo wrapped up her senior season earning a spot on the All-Western Massachusetts and all-conference teams for the third time ... She scored 12 goals and added 20 assists in her senior season and was named Longmeadow's Female Athlete of the Year.

PERSONAL: Is the daughter of Brian and Ellen Izzo ... Has two other siblings - Colin and Julia ... Is undecided on a major.
