Salerno earned her first career Division I point in her first game as picked up an assist in the Catamounts Oct. 4 game against Penn State ... She scored the game-winning goal for Vermont on Senior Day as the Catamounts extended a six-game winning streak with a 3-1 win over Providence ... She finished her collegiate career on a four-game point streak.
Before Vermont: Salerno is transferring to Vermont after playing the last three seasons at Amherst College … Salerno was a team captain last season for the Lord Jeffs … In 80 career games she tallied 13 goals and 29 assists for 42 points … The last two seasons she earned second-team All-NESCAC honors.
