Biography

FIRST YEAR SEASON (2025): Horning competed in three out of the six EISA Carnivals during her first year season. She earned a season best finish at the Saint Michaels Carnival racing to 13th place overall in the 10k Skate. Horning finished in the top 30 in every race she participated in. 

BEFORE VERMONT: Prior to Vermont, Horning was a member of the 2024 Youth Olympic team ... She was also a member on the U18 Scandinavian cup team (2022-2023) ... Horning was a member on the Junior Worlds team in 2023 ... Horning has earned five National Podiums ... Earned a Junior National Championship in 2023 (skate 7.5km)
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Luke and Christine Horning ... Has three siblings, Adele, Levi, and John ... Currently undecided for her major ... She chose UVM because she admired the team culture and liked the coaches ... Rose's biggest influence is her mother who taught her to love skiing.
