CAREER HONORS: 
EISA All-East Second Team (2025)

FIRST YEAR SEASON (2025): Kristin competed in all six EISA Carnivals for Vermont in her first year and was named to the 2025 UVM Ski roster for the NCAA Championships. She collected four different podium appearances. She placed second overall in the Freestyle Sprints during the Bates Carnival and second overall in the 20k Freestyle Mass Start during the Dartmouth Carnival. Kristin also made podiums finishing third in the St. Lawrence 20k Freestyle Mass Start and the Saint Michael's 10k Skate. She placed in the top 15 during the NCAA Championships finishing in 13th during the 7.5k Classic Individual start. Overall, Kristin placed outside the top 20 just twice, racking up 12 separate top 20 finishes.  

BEFORE VERMONT: Transferred from the University of Oslo (Norway) … She was a Junior National Champion in Sprints.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Rune Helland and Heidi Maltun … She has two siblings, Ida and Line … Majoring in Business, with a Minor in Finance … She chose UVM for the opportunity to ski with a great team and to experience the American college lifestyle … Her biggest influences are Lakeri Ertzgaard and her full-time skier friends in Norway.
