FIRST-YEAR OUTDOOR SEASON (2025): Begun his outdoor career with second and 11th place finishes in the 100 and 200 at the Jim Boulanger Invitational (Apr. 5) … Finished 32nd in the 200 at the UMass Commonwealth Invitational (Apr. 12) … Logged third, 16th, and 17th in the 4x100 relay, 100, and 200 at the George Davis Invitational (Apr. 19) … Came in fifth in the 4x100 relay at the UMass Pre-Conference Meet (Apr. 25).
FIRST-YEAR INDOOR SEASON (2025): Opened the indoor season at the Dartmouth Relays (Jan. 11), competing in the 60m and 200m races, receiving 10th and sixth place finishes… Recorded a 25th place finish in the 400m at the Riverhawk Invitational (Jan. 24-25)… Placed 11th in the 60m at the Scarlet Knight Open (Jan. 31)… Competed in the Big Apple Invitational (Feb. 8), where he ran the 60m and 200m races, placing 22nd and 18th…Castillo ran the 60m and 200m at the America East Indoor Championship (Feb. 22-23), with 19th and 27th place finishes… He finished out the season at the Indoor IC4A/ECAC T&F Championships (Mar. 7-9), running two 60m races and placing 15th and 13th… Castillo recorded three personal bests this season: 7.06 in the 60m, 22.92 in the 200m, and 53.47 in the 400m.
