Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2012): Started 17 games … Finished the year with five points on two goals and one assist … Scored the game winning goal against Hofstra … Tallied a goal in the 2-2 tie at Quinnipiac … Assisted on the game winning goal at UMBC.

BEFORE VERMONT: Bonner came to Vermont after a one-year stint at High Point University in 2010 and a season at Genesee Community College in 2011 ... He appeared in 11 games at High Point before moving on to Genesee ... While at Genesee, he led the Cougars to the NJCAA Division III National Championship game and a 16-2-2 mark ... Genesee finished the 2011 campaign as the national runners-up and Bonner was named to the NJCAA National All-Tournament Team ... A native of Buncrana, Ireland, Bonner played for Ireland's U17 and U16 national teams ... He was the soccer player of the year in 2008 and 2009 and won Ulster Championships in 2007 and 2009.
