The 2023 season will mark the fourth season on staff for Dubois, and his third as associate head coach.
Vermont has finished in the top two of the America East standings in each season since Dubois joined the staff.
In 2022, the Catamounts reached the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time since 1989, and ended the campaign with a program-best No. 4 national ranking in the United Soccer Coaches final poll. Vermont finished the 2022 campaign with a 16-4-2 (5-1-1 AE) mark - it's second-highest win total in program history. The Catamounts matched several program records, tying for the most goals (46) and consecutive shutout games (7). Vermont held opponents scoreless for 792:44, the longest run in program history.
UVM earned wins over Quinnipiac (W, 3-2 2OT), No. 11 SMU (W, 3-2), and UCLA (W, 3-0) in the first three rounds of the NCAA Tournament, and fell to eventual national champion, No. 3 Syracuse (L, 2-1) in the quarterfinals.
Dubois was key in capturing the sixth America East Championship in program history in 2021. The 2021 Catamounts produced six All-Conference members, including America East Goalkeeper of the Year Nate Silveira. Vermont also had three members of the All-Rookie team, and five All-Northeast members.
Vermont produced a 5-2-1 (4-1-1) mark in the COVID-altered 2020-21 season. The Catamounts locked up second place in league play, and battled NJIT to a 1-0 victory in the America East Semifinals, clinching their first trip to the conference championship game since 2015. Alex Nagy, Noah Egan, Daniel Pacella, and Garrett Lillie received All-Conference and All-Northeast honors. Nagy also became the first Catamount to be named an All-American since Brian Wright in 2016.
In his first season, Dubois helped the Catamounts to an 11-6-1 overall record and 5-1-1 mark in league play. UVM captured a share of the regular season conference crown. The Green and Gold had six student-athletes honored on the conference and regional levels. Rasmus Tobinski was named America East Rookie of the Year and Ívar Örn Árnason was a United Soccer Coaches All-Northeast Region First Team pick.
Dubois came to Catamount Country after an impressive five-year head coaching stint at St. Joseph's College in Standish Maine. In his four seasons, the Monks accrued a 71-25-9 record, captured three GNAC crowns, and earned the program's first ever NCAA Tournament win. SJC owned a 42-game unbeaten streak over the past two seasons – the fifth longest in NCAA Division III men's soccer history. He was named GNAC Coach of the Year three times and earned United Soccer Coaches New England Staff of the Year honors in 2017.
Prior to SJC, he served as an assistant coach at UMass Boston and UC-San Diego. He also worked with the New England Football Club in Boston and The Catalyst Training Center in San Diego, California.
A native of Acworth, New Hampshire, Dubois was a four-year starting midfielder at the University of New Hampshire from 2004-08 and earned New Hampshire High School All-America and Gatorade Player of the Year accolades following his senior season at Fall Mountain Regional High School.
