SENIOR SEASON (2023): Played in all 14 games and led the team with 24 caused turnovers – the third-most in a single season in program history … finished the year with 40 ground balls which ranked second on the team … scored four goals and added six assists … four or more ground balls in five games … posted 14 caused turnovers through the final four games of the season … became the all-time leader in caused turnovers at UVM with six against UAlbany on May 4 … named to the America East All-Conference First Team for the second straight season.
JUNIOR SEASON (2022): Played in all 19 games and led the team with 32 caused turnovers – the most in a single season in program history…finished the year with 88 ground balls which ranked second on the team…led the country in goals by an LSM with eight and also had four assists…five or more ground balls in nine games including nine against No. 1 Maryland in the NCAA Tournament…two multi-goals games – one at Stony Brook and the other at home vs. Canisius…posted 12 caused turnovers through the first five games of the season…enters senior season fourth all-time in caused turnovers and ninth in ground balls…named to the America East All-Conference First Team.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2021): Played in all 14 games at long stick midfield ... scored his lone goal of the season in the home opener vs. UMass Lowell (March 3) ... Collected season-high eight ground balls against UAlbany (April 28) and caused a season-high three turnovers twice against Hartford (March 27) and UAlbany (March 13) ... Finished the year with 51 ground balls - ranked 5th in the conference ... Named to America East All-Rookie Team and to the All-New England Second Team.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2020): Played in all four games at long stick midfield … Scored his first collegiate goal in the season-opener at Holy Cross (Feb. 15) … Posted a season-high four ground balls against Quinnipiac (Feb. 22) … Tallied eight ground balls and four caused turnovers on the season. *
BEFORE VERMONT: Played lacrosse and basketball in high school. Two-time CHSCA All-American, three-time All-State, and three-time All-Conference selection … Helped New Fairfield to back-to-back state championships as a team captain in 2018 and 2019.
PERSONAL: Son of Eric and Paulette Alviti of New Fairfield, Connecticut … Has two brothers, Noah and Nate … Lists LeBron James as his favorite athlete and Game of Thrones as his favorite show … Voted high school basketball team’s best dunker … Chose UVM for the scenery and landscape of the campus along with the coaching staff … Intends to major in Business.
