Von Brauchitsch joined the Catamounts in the Summer of 2025 as Director of Hockey Operations after serving as the Assistant Director of Hockey Operations for the Maryland Black Bears (NAHL).

With the Black Bears he oversaw all team video operations, including filming games and practices, cutting/editing footage, and organizing team video sessions. He also led opponent scouting and team breakdowns — focused on faceoff matchups, team tendencies, and special teams’ analysis. He worked directly with players, especially centers, on video review to support game preparation and development.

Outside of hockey he completed three summer internships as a training camp equipment intern with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens, gaining professional experience in operations, communication, and daily team support.

Originally from Connecticut he played youth hockey for the Wonderland Wizards and he was a four-year Division I CIAC varsity hockey player at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Southern Connecticut State University.
