BEFORE VERMONT:
* Joined the Catamounts after attending Mount Pleasant High School
* Chism averaged 19.6 ppg, 3 rpg, and 5 apg his senior year
* In the 2022-2023 season he led Mount Pleasant to first in their district with a record of 34-1
* Was freshmen of the year in 2022-23, Had First team & offensive MVP honors in 2023-24, was offensive MVP & all region in 2024-25 & 2025-26

PERSONAL:
* Son of Lori and Joey Chism
* His brother Payton plays basketball at Texas A&M Texarkana
* Chose UVM because, “I saw how dedicated the whole coaching staff and community were to winning. It’s consistency over the years winning championships and its fan base is what stood out to me. Overall, it’s a great place to be and I can’t wait.”
* Majoring in Sports Management 
* His biggest influence as an athlete is his family
* Favorite movie is Coach Carter
* Favorite athlete to watch is Lamelo Ball
* Something you may not know about Cash is that baseball used to be his main sport
