BOSTON – Ryleigh Garrow posted a top-five finish for the Vermont women as the Catamounts completed a three-day weekend of events at IC4A Championships.

Matt Belfield. "Points scored by Andres for the men, and Ryleigh and Grace for the women were highlights for sure. Many others had personal bests and were overall trending positively toward our goals."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the women's mile Marenn Ek lead the Catamounts with a 5:03.72 mile for 16th place. Hope Tyska finished at 5:06.84 in 18th with Alina Staten in the top-20 at 5:07.78.
- Will Just posted a 4:15.52 in the men's mile to complete 12th place finish.
- It was a top-five performance from Ryleigh Garrow in the 60m hurdles. It also moved her into the Vermont record books quick enough for fourth all-time at 8.81 seconds.
- Andres Santiago came in seventh in the men's 60m hurdles at 8.54 to pick up points.
- Vermont added another top-10 in the women's 1000m from Grace DeLisle. She finished in 2:58.00 to add a pair of points for the women.
UP NEXT
The Catamounts final tune up before the America East Championships comes in the David Hemery Valentine Invite next weekend. Hosted by BU at the BU Track and Tennis Center, the men will participate Friday with the women in action on Saturday.
