HOW IT HAPPENED
- Karina Sethi gave the Catamounts a 1-0 lead, scoring a free position shot at the 10:29 mark in the first quarter.
- Marist would tie the game at one with four minutes remaining in the first.
- Jane Trauger scored with two minutes left in the quarter. Lydia Doraz recorded the assist as Vermont took a 2-1 lead.
- In the first two minutes of the second quarter, Jane Trauger recorded her second goal of the game, giving Vermont a 3-1 lead.
- Marist responded with a goal one minute later, but the Catamounts still led 3-2.
- At 10:19 in the second quarter, Lauren Lefebvre notched a goal assisted by Jane Trauger as Vermont went up 4-2.
- Marist responded with a goal, but Caitlin Haggerty scored with 3:30 in the second. Vermont went into halftime up 5-3.
- The Red Foxes started the second half with two goals in the first two minutes of the third quarter. The game was all tied up at five.
