BOSTON – Alina Staten led a closely packed group of Catamounts who competed in the 1000m race at the Valentine Invitational in Boston on Saturday at the BU Track and Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Placing 39th overall was Alina Staten in the 1000m race. She finished at 3:00.31.
- Ava Hayden was right behind in the same heat as Staten. Hayden came in 41st at 3:01.54.
- In her return to the track Makenna Alden finished 43rd at 3:03.30.
- Kate Kelly competed in the Triple Jump for the Catamounts clearing 10.37m and placing 15th.
