HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont and Bryant both started out slow offensively, but Sean Blake was able to knock down two quick threes as the Catamounts led 6-2 at the first media timeout.
- Building on their early lead, the Catamounts stretched the margin to 11-4 with 11:41 remaining in the half, thanks to a Ben Johnson corner three.
- Lucas Mari knocked down a deep three as Vermont continued their dominant start to the game, leading 21-10 with 6:59 remaining in the first half.
- Shortly after, Noah Barnett threw down a slam dunk off a pick and roll from a Lucas Mari pass, helping Vermont take a 30-17 lead into halftime. Sean Blake led with a team-high 8 points at the break.
- TJ Hurley would connect on three out of the 2nd half, but Bryant was starting to get shots to fall. Vermont still led 39-30 at the 13:46 mark.
- Over the next four minutes, TJ Hurley scored the next four points for Vermont, allowing the Catamounts to maintain a 43-35 lead with 9:47 left in the half.
