Burlington, VT. – Vermont (4-8) took a loss on Saturday afternoon, falling to Binghamton (4-8) at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
Meghan O'Connor led Vermont recording a team-high four goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- At the 9:54 mark, Binghamton started out the gate going up 1-0.
- One minute later, Meghan O'Connor scores a low bounce shot off a Lydia Doraz assist to tie the game at one.
- Binghamton ended the first quarter on a 2-0 run, while Vermont would trail 3-1 going into the second quarter.
- At the 9:19 mark in the second quarter, Meghan O'Connor scored another bounce shot this time off the free position. Catamounts still trailed 3-2.
- Two minutes later, the bearcats responded capitalizing off a free position opportunity to go up 4-2.
- After another Binghamton goal, Kendall Traveis scored from an Ava Wilde pass as UVM was still down 3-5.
- At halftime, the score remained 3-5.
- At the 14:05 mark, Meghan O'Connor recorded a hat-trick off an Ava Wilde assist. 30 seconds later, Lydia Doraz would bury a goal from another Ava Wilde assist as the Catamounts tied the game at five.
- With 12 minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Bearcats responded with a free position goal taking a 6-5 lead. 30 seconds later, Caitlin Haggerty buried a free position goal going top shelf. Catamounts tied the game again at 6.
- At the 4:17 mark, Binghamton buried a goal to take a 7-6 lead, A minute later, Binghamton tallied another goal.

- At the 6:25 mark in the fourth quarter, the Bearcats buried a top-shelf goal to take a 9-8 lead. Two minutes later, Binghamton would score off a free position attempt. Binghamton finished the game on a 4-0 run.
