VERMONT OUTLOOK
- Vermont is coming off a 10-14 loss against Fairfield on Wednesday.
- First year Caitlin Haggerty had a team-high three goals for the Catamounts against Fairfield.
- Lydia Doraz leads Vermont with 10 goals on the season.
- Vermont ranks 3rd in the country and 1st in the America East in clear percentage (95.2%)
- UVM also ranks 11th in the country and 2nd in the America East in shots per game (34).
- The Catamounts are ranked 32nd in ground balls per game (18).
- Vermont returns Anna Rosenberger and Sabine Godwin who each made the America East All-Rookie Team last year. UVM also returns Senior, Maddie Erskine, who recorded 29 goals and eight assists in 2023.
- UVM was picked fifth in the America East Preseason Poll. Reigning champion Binghamton was selected first in the poll, receiving six first-place votes.
- Claire Adlehelm, Kendall Traveis, and Meghan O'Connor were selected to as team captains for the 2025 campaign.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Brown has started the year off 3-0 with their most recent game defeating Sacred Heart 18-2 this past Sunday,
- The Bears have the #1 offense in the country averaging 20 goals a game.
- Brown picked No. 5 in the Ivy League Coaches' Poll after finishing with a record of 10-5 (3-4 Ivy) in 2024.
- Brown returns senior midfielder Annie Burton, who was named to the 2nd Team All-Ivy in 2024. Burton tallied 59 points (21 goals and 38 assists) and 26 ground balls last year.
- Vermont and Brown will meet for the 8th time in series history on Saturday. The last time the two teams squared off was in 1996, when the Bears defeated the Catamounts 5-15.

HOME OPENER
UVMÂ begins the season with eight straight road games before its home opener against CCSU on Mar. 18. The matchup between the Cats and the Blue Devils will begin at 4 p.m. at Virtue Field.
