BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (15-11) (8-3 AE) hosts Bryant (17-10) (10-1 AE) on Friday night. Action from Patrick Gymnasium will tip off at 7 p.m. ET and it will be on ESPN+.  
 
Thursday's promotion is Spread Respect presented by TD Bank. TD Cardholders can show their TD Bank card for a free hot chocolate or coffee at concessions and 20% off at the bookstore kiosk.  TD Bank will be distributing rainbow sunglasses, water bottles and phone wallets. The conference clash will broadcast live on ESPN+. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield on The Game, which will air on 97.1 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 960 AM around the rest of the region. VERMONT OUTLOOK

• The Catamounts are coming off a 65-61 win against Maine on Saturday afternoon.
• Two different Catamounts earned double-digit scoring against Maine. TJ Hurley (24), and Ileri Ayo_Faleye (12) contributed for Vermont.
• Sam Alamutu had a career day against Maine. He set two career highs with 13 rebounds and 7 assists on Saturday.
• Hurley leads UVM in scoring averaging 15.6 points per game. He has had eight 20+ point games this season. TJ Hurley ranks 30^th in the country and 2^nd in the America East in free throw percentage. On the year, Hurley has shot 88.7 percent from the line.
• The Catamounts allow 64.4 points per game, which ranks UVM as the 21^st best scoring defense in the country and 1^st in the America East. UVM also ranks 76^th in defending the three-point line, allowing opponents to shoot 31.6% from three. Vermont has also averaged 13.7 fouls per game, which is the 13^th lowest.
• Catamounts are ranked 96^th in blocks per game (3.9). Ileri Ayo-Faleye ranks 50^th in the country with 1.69 blocks per game.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

• Bryant is 17-10 on the year coming off an 81-79 win against UMBC last Saturday.
• The Bulldogs rank 6^th nationally in rebounds per game averaging 41 rebounds a game. They also rank 5^th in the country in blocks per game (5.8).
• Bryant ranks 17^th in points per game, scoring 83 points a game.  
• 5^th year guard Earl Timberlake returns for Bryant averaging 15.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. The 2024 First Team All-America East guard ranks 15^th in the country in double-doubles this year (11).
• Senior guard Rafael Pinzon leads the Bulldogs in scoring, averaging 18.4 points per game, which ranks him second in the America East. Pinzon also ranks 1^st in the America East in three-point percentage (42.6%).
• The Catamounts lead the all-time series (5-2). The last time these teams met, Vermont took a loss at Bryant (53-73) in early January.  
• Bryant is currently first in the America East standings.
