WOMEN'S LACROSSE NOTEBOOK
Vermont women's lacrosse will head on the road to play Le Moyne. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday at 12 p.m. in Syracuse, NY, but, due to the weather, the game vs Le Moyne will now be played at 11 AM on Friday. The match will now be held at Afrim's Sports Complex in Colonie, NY.

VERMONT OUTLOOK
- Vermont is coming off an 11-10 victory against Jacksonville this past Sunday.
- Caitlin Haggerty in her first collegiate game, scored a game-winning goal in double overtime on Sunday. Along with the game-winning goal, Haggerty contributed with three goals earning her America East rookie of the week honors. Â
- Lydia Doraz had a career-high three goals and a team-high four points against Jacksonville. Doraz also had a team-high three draw controls.
- Emily Gorham had a team-high eight ground balls. Gorham also recorded a team-high five caused turnovers which earned her America East defensive player of the week.
- The Catamounts return Anna Rosenberger and Sabine Godwin who each made the America East All-Rookie Team last year. UVM also returns Senior, Maddie Erskine, who recorded 29 goals and eight assists in 2023.
- UVM was picked fifth in the America East Preseason Poll. Reigning champion Binghamton was selected first in the poll, receiving six first-place votes.
- Claire Adlehelm, Kendall Traveis, and Meghan O'Connor were selected to as team captains for the 2025 campaign.

SCOUTING THE DOLPHINS
- Le Moyne was picked No. 3 in the NEC Conference Coaches' Poll after finishing with a record of 9-9 (8-2 NEC) mark in 2024. The Dolphins suffered an 11-13 loss to Wagner in the first round of the NEC tournament.
- The Dolphins return sophomore midfielder Maddi Barney, who was named to the NEC all-conference second team and all-rookie team in 2024. Barney tallied 13 points (9 goals and 4 assists) and 22 draw controls last year.
- The Dolphins return 19 players from last year's team, while adding nine freshmen.
- Vermont and Le Moyne will meet for the 10th time in series history on Friday. The Catamounts defeated the Dolphins last year 17-4 at Virtue field.

HOME OPENER
UVMÂ begins the season with two straight road games before its home opener against Marist on Feb. 23. The matchup between the Cats and the Red Foxes will begin at 11 a.m. at Virtue Field.
