COACH'S QUOTE
"Obviously a disappointing outcome for us," said Head Coach
Jim Plumer. "There's no sugarcoating that. Unfortunately, we didn't have anything to show for an outstanding first period and Franklin Pierce capitalized on their chances, and we didn't. Their goalie and team defense were great an deserve all the credit. We've had to three games in a row when we have dominated territoriality and not had the goals to show for it. As coaches, we've got to make some adjustments and figure out a way to help the offense."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first period that saw Vermont out shoot Franklin Pierce 16 to two, the Ravens opened scoring 2:38 into the second frame when Alexandria Cistolo was able to squeak in a snapshot, securing her first goal of the season to give Franklin Pierce a 1-0 lead.

- Just 23 seconds later, Brooke George cut the deficit in half, scoring her first goal of the season. Lauren O'Hara took the initial shot on net, but George was there to bury the rebound opportunity, bringing the Catamounts back within one, 2-1.
- The Ravens scored their third goal of the period with 1:17 remaining in the second frame, courtesy of McKenzie Grimm notching her second goal of the season.
- Ashley Kokavec rang a shot off the cross bar 11:20 into the final period, nearly scoring her first goal of the season, but the puck stayed out as the Ravens maintained the 3-1 lead.
