BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (11-9) (4-1 AE) continues its homestand with a matchup against UMBC (10-10) (2-3 AE) on Saturday afternoon. Action from Patrick Gym will tip off at 1 p.m. ET and it will be on ESPN+.

VERMONT OUTLOOK
- The Catamounts are coming off a 68-64 win against NJIT and is currently third in the America East standings.
- Ileri Ayo-Faleye had a career-high 27 points against NJIT on Thursday night. This was Ayo-Faleye's first game scoring over 20+ points.
- Shamir Bogues (14 points) was the only other Catamount to earn double-digit scoring against NJIT. Bogues also finished with 11 rebounds notching his first double-double as a Catamount.
- TJ Hurley leads UVM in scoring averaging 14.9 points per game. He has had six 20+ point games this season. Hurley also ranks 3rd in the country and 1st in the America East in free throw percentage. On the year Hurley has shot 94.2 percent from the line.
- Catamounts are ranked 72nd in blocks per game (4.3). Ileri Ayo-Faleye ranks 40th in the country with 1.8 blocks per game.
- The Catamounts allow 64.5 points per game, which ranks UVM as the 25th best scoring defense in the country and 1st in the America East. UVM also ranks 64th in defending the three-point line, allowing opponents to shoot 30.9% from three. Vermont has also averaged 14.5 fouls per game, which is the 25th lowest.

SCOUTING THE RETRIEVERS
- UMBC is 10-10 on the year coming off a 92-87 overtime win against UAlbany on Thursday night and is currently fifth in the America East standings.
- The Retrievers rank 30th nationally in scoring offense averaging 82.4 points a game. They also rank 21st in the country in three-point percentage (38.5%).
- UMBC likes to shoot the ball early in possessions as they rank 76th in the country in fast break points (12.6 fast break points per game)
- Senior guard Bryce Johnson leads the Retrievers in scoring, averaging 17.6 points per game, which ranks him third in the America East. Johnson also ranks second in the America East in field goal percentage (52.2%).
- Senior guard Marcus Banks Jr. is another scoring threat on UMBC averaging 14.4 points per game. Banks ranks 1st in the America East in three-point percentage (41.1) and three-pointers per game (2.9).
- The Catamounts lead the all-time series 43-9.
