BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (9-9) (2-1 AE) will host their first conference home game of 2025 against Binghamton (9-9) (1-2 AE) on Thursday night. Action from Patrick Gym will tip-off at 7 p.m. ET and will be on ESPN+. Thursday's game is Vermont Night presented by Vermont Federal Credit Union. Cabot and Lake Champlain Chocolates will be giving away samples in the lobby for fans. Vermont National and  Vermont Federal Credit Union will have tables set up in the lobby for giveaways!

BROADCAST INFORMATION

The conference clash will broadcast live on ESPN+  . Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield on The Game, which will air on 97.1 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 960 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the Varsity Network App with Brian McLaughlin on the call.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

• The Catamounts are coming off a 53-73 loss against Bryant.
• Two different Catamounts earned double-digit scoring last Saturday. Shamir Bogues (17) and Ileri Ayo-Faleye (15) contributed for the Catamounts.  
• TJ Hurley leads UVM in scoring averaging 14.3 points per game. He has had five 20+ point games this season.
• Catamounts are ranked 59th in blocks per game (4.6). Ileri Ayo-Faleye ranks 32nd in the country with 1.89 blocks per game.
• Vermont ranks 82nd in the country in free throw percentage. The Catamounts have shot 74.6 percent from the free throw line this season. TJ Hurley ranks 4th in the country and 1st in the America East in free throw percentage. On the year, Hurley has shot 93.8 percent from the line.
• The Catamounts allow 64.5 points per game, which ranks UVM as the 31st best scoring defense in the country and 1st in the America East. UVM also ranks 87th in defending the three-point line, allowing opponents to shoot 31.2% from three. Vermont has also averaged 14.7 fouls per game, which is the 33rd lowest.

• Binghamton is coming off a 72-79 loss against New Hampshire.
• Sophomore forward Gavin Walsh leads the Bearcats with seven double-doubles on the year which ranks 19th in the NCAA. On the year Walsh has averaged 10.6 points and 10.4 rebounds.
• The Bearcats are ranked 39th in the nation and 2nd in the America East for three-point percentage averaging 37.6% from deep.
• The Catamounts will battle the Bearcats for the 53rd time. Vermont has beaten Binghamton in 21 straight matchups.
• Binghamton was selected 6th in the America East Preseason Poll.
