BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (4-1-2) starts conference play against UNH (2-2-2) this Saturday at 1 p.m. ET from Virtue Field. Vermont comes into the game with two straight 5-0 victories. The action from Burlington will be broadcast live on
ESPN+ with Brian Mclaughlin on the call.
Saturday's game is Youth Day presented by Healthy Living. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a replica soccer jersey courtesy of WCAX.

CATAMOUNTS CELEBRATE ALUMNI ON UVM WEEKEND
As a part of UVM Weekend the Catamounts are excited to offer alumni with two opportunities to connect with the Catamounts. On Saturday morning from Centennial Field alumni and their families are invited from 9-10:30 a.m. to kick around and take pictures. Following our contest with UNH please join our postgame tailgate BBQ at 3 p.m. under the overhang adjacent to Virtue Field.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP
- The Wildcat's trip to Burlington is their final away game of a four-game road trip. So far on the four-game road trip, UNH has gone (1-1-1) in their last contest at #12 Hofstra topped the Wildcats 1-0.
- New Hampshire's defense has been one of their strong suits this year. On average, the Wildcats have allowed one goal per game.
- Senior forward Ibrahim Conde leads the Wildcats with three goals on the season so far.
- UNH was tied 2nd in the America East preseason poll with 40 first-place votes.
CATAMOUNTS ON A ROLL
- The Catamounts tied their season-high of five goals this past Saturday night in a 5-0 match against Harvard.
- Since 2021 the Catamounts are 19-0-0 when scoring three or more goals.
- Vermont has scored thirteen goals in their last two games.
- UVM ranks 10th nationally with 16.43 shots per game
- The Catamounts rank 1st in the America East in goal differential (+10) and goals per game (2.43).
- As for individual performers, Sydney Wathuta ranks 1st in the America East and 10th nationally with (0.71 assists per game).
- Lou Liedtka leads the America East with three shutout performances.
YOUTH DAY PRESENTED BY HEALTHY LIVING
- Kids 12 and younger will be granted free admission upon arrival while tickets last. We will have lawn games, bounce house, arts & crafts and more outside of Virtue Field starting at 12 p.m. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a replica soccer jersey courtesy of WCAX.
PRESEASON HONORS
- Vermont was selected as the preseason favorite by America East head coaches for the first time since 2008. The Catamounts picked up five of seven possible first-place votes and scored a total of 47 points in the poll.
- Yaniv Bazini, Max Murray, Adrian Schulze Solano, Sydney Wathuta, Zach Barrett, and Nick Lockermann took up six of a possible 11 spots on the America East Preseason All-Conference Team.
- Bazini was one of 16 NCAA Division I players named to the Hermann Trophy Watch List. The award is presented at the end of the season to the nation's top collegiate player.
