BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont men's basketball team took a loss in New Haven, Connecticut against Yale. 
TJ Hurley led the Catamounts with 21 points and a career-high five threes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Yale went on an 8-0 run to start the game along with two threes.
 
	- At the 16-minute media timeout, the Catamounts were down 8-2.
 
	- TJ Hurley led Vermont out of the gate with five straight points.
 
	- After the 16-minute media timeout, UVM would go on a 7-0 run thanks to a TJ Hurley three.
 
	- With 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Vermont was down by 13-12. Seth Joba hit a top-of-the-key three-pointer
 
	- At the end of the 8-minute media timeout, the game was at a stalemate as the score stood 13-12.
 
	- Both teams were scoreless for 4 minutes until Shamir Bogues backed down his defender for a contested layup as UVM would take its first lead of the game 14-13.
 
	- TJ Hurley hit a corner three after multiple lead changes. Vermont would go up 20-19 with 3:30 remaining.

	- With 1:23 remaining, Blake had another fastbreak layup and the foul. The Cats were down 57-47.
