- The Catamounts are coming off a 53-60 loss against Brown.
- Sean Blake had a career-high 13 points on Tuesday evening.
- Vermont had two players scoring double-digits in Tuesday's loss. Sean Blake (13) and Shamir Bogues (11) contributed for the Catamounts.
- TJ Hurley leads UVM in scoring averaging 13.6 points per game.
- Catamounts are ranked 42nd in blocks per game (4.9). Ileri Ayo-Faleye ranks 13th in the country with 2.5 blocks per game.
- Vermont ranks 81st in the country in free throw percentage. The Catamounts have shot 74.9 percent from the free throw line this season. TJ Hurley ranks 17th in the country and 1st in the America East in free throw percentage. On the year, Hurley has shot 94.7 percent from the line.
- The Catamounts allow 66.7 points per game which ranks UVM the 82nd best scoring defense in the country. Vermont has averaged 14.5 fouls per game which is ranked 28th lowest.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- Yale is 4-5 on the year coming off a two-game losing skid (losses against Rhode Island and Delaware).
- The Bulldogs are ranked 12th in the country in assists per game (19.2) and 9th in assists/turnover ratio (1.88).
- Yale's offense has been a dominant force averaging 84 points per game which is ranked 35th best in Division One. They are also shooting the ball efficiently, shooting 38.3% from three, ranking the Bulldogs 36th best in the country.
- The Bulldogs are led by senior guard John Poulakidas. Poulakidas is the 16th-best scorer in the nation averaging 21.1 points per game. The former second-team All-Ivy selection shoots 43.8% from the three which ranks him 68th best in the country.
- After defeating Auburn in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament, the Bulldogs were picked to finish 2nd in the Ivy League Preseason Poll.
- Last year, the Catamounts defeated Yale 66-65 in Patrick Gym. TJ Long had 23 points and hit a 4-point buzzer-beater to beat the Bulldogs by one.
