BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont Men's Basketball has their season home opener facing off against the Buffalo Bulls. Action from Patrick Gymnasium kicks off Nov. 19 and tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
 
Tuesday's game is presented by PC Construction. The first 150 fans will receive a co-branded stainless steel cup courtesy of PC Construction. PC Construction will also be running a raffle for UVM Tickets and Gear at their table in the Patrick Gym lobby.
 
BROADCAST INFORMATION
The non-conference clash will broadcast live on ESPN+ with Rob Ryan and Bernie Cieplicki on the call. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield on The Game, which will air on 97.1 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 960 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the Varsity Network App with Brian McLaughlin on the call.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

• TJ Long recorded his 1000^th point against Merrimack. On the season he has averaged 13.2 points per game.
• Ileri Ayo-Faleye ranks 32^nd in the country with 2.25 blocks per game.
• First-year guard Sean Blake leads the Catamounts with 2.5 assists per game.
• Vermont ranks 43^rd in the country in free throw percentage. The Catamounts have shot 77.8 percent from the free throw line this season.
• The Catamounts hold opponents to 8.5 assists per game which ranks 14^th in the country.
• Vermont was selected No. 1 in the America East Preseason Poll for the eighth time in the last nine seasons, and the tenth time in 14 seasons under John Becker. Vermont received eight of the nine first-place votes, and a score of 64 points. UMass Lowell was picked second in the poll, receiving the one remaining first-place votes and a score of 55 points.
• Shamir Bogues received a Preseason All-Conference honor after earning America East Newcomer of the Year, All-Championship Team, All-Conference First Team, and All-Defensive Team in 2023-24.
• TJ Long also received a Preseason All-Conference honor after landing on the America East All-Championship Team and All-Conference Third Team last year.

SCOUTING THE BULLS

• Buffalo is led by Head Coach George Halcovage III who enters his second season with the Bulls.
• The Bulls are 2-2 this year with a recent 64-87 loss to Bryant on Thursday.
• Buffalo ranks 32^nd in the country in three-point attempts. They have averaged 29.8 three-pointers per game.
• The Bulls were picked to finish 12^th this year in the MAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
