COACH'S QUOTE
"Winning on the road at Albany as we know from our history is a tall order," said Head Coach
Rob Dow. "We had 19 guys contribute on the field to the win, but it took all 28 of our guys to get this result. Now we turn the page to UConn at home on Tuesday and look forward to our fans giving us the 12th man."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 16th minute the Catamounts came close to opening the scoring. Yaniv Bazini played a cross into the UA box, it was initially headed away by the Great Danes but Sydney Wathuta headed back to the front of the net. Niels Hartman headed the Wathuta feed past the UA goalkeeper but Santiago Frias saved the ball off the goal line to keep things scoreless.
- Just minutes later David Ismail put the Catamounts on the board with his first goal of the campaign. From 20 yards out Ismail cut across his defender before firing a perfect shot just inside the post and past UA's Parker Kump in the 20th minute.
- Seconds before the halftime break Kissel doubled the Catamounts advantage. Nathan Siméon played a cross into the box and Kissel got a touch on it that redirected the ball down and past Kump. It deflected off the crossbar and Kissel was first to it again and he tapped it home for his fifth goal of the year.
- The Great Danes got one back on their fifth corner of the game in the 70th minute. Ander Castillo's fifth goal of the season made it 2-1.
- Just 45 seconds later the Catamount clapped right back. Yaniv Bazini's fourth goal of the season made it a two-goal lead again. Ryan Zellefrow cut down the wing and played a quick ball to the front of goal. It got past two players, but Bazini was in the right place at the right time and tapped it just inside the post.
- Kissel put the game out of reach in the 79th minute for the Catamounts. Wathuta played a dangerous ball into the box, three UA defenders had a chance at it but none could stop it from finding Kissel on the far post for a tap-in clincher.
