BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont looks to capitalize on home ice, competing in their third game of a four game homestand, hosting a weekend series with St. Lawrence. Friday's game is set for 6 p.m. and will be Vermont's Rally Around Mental Health game presented by Redstone benefiting United Way. Saturday's puck drop is slated for 2 p.m. and will be Vermont's Military Appreciation Day game presented by Milton Cat. Redstone will have promotional items at their tabling set-up during Friday's matchup. All the action will be streamed on ESPN+ with Rob Ryan on the call.

VERMONT OUTLOOK
- The Catamounts return a handful of familiar faces including member of the 2024 Hockey East All-Rookie Team, Kaylee Lewis, who finished her first season with 10 goals and eight assists for 18 total points, good for third most amongst Hockey East rookies last season. UVM also brings back Evelyne Blais-Savoie, who earned 21 total points last season on seven goals and 14 assists, good for second highest on the team. The 2023 Hockey East Rookie of the Year, Lara Beecher, returns for her third season in a Catamount uniform after posting a 19-point season in 2023-24 on nine goals and 10 assists.
- Vermont has dominated in the faceoff circle to begin the season, ranking fifth in the Nation in faceoff win percentage with a 58.5% success rate. Blais-Savoie is at the forefront of these wins for UVM, ranking 15th in the nation and second in Hockey East with 57 total wins on the season.
- The Catamounts have been producing on the powerplay, ranking fourth in Hockey East and 20th in the Nation in Power-Play Percentage, scoring 18.2% of the time on a powerplay.
- Kyla Bent ranks third in Hockey East and 30th in the nation in assists per game, tallying three assists in four games so far this season.
- Lara Beecher and Blais-Savoie are tied for fifth in the Hockey East in Goals per Game, each having scored two goals in four games so far this season for a .50 goals per game percentage.
- Beecher and Bent are tied for fourth in the Hockey East in Points per Game, earning 1.00 point a game with each player having four points in four games thus far. Both Bent and Beecher also rank tied for third in the conference in Power Play Goals, having tallied one powerplay goal each on the season.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS
- St. Lawrence is 4-2-0 on the campaign thus far, defeating Merrimack, Syracuse, and a weekend sweep of Mercyhurst. Their two losses came from Ohio State during their first two home games of the season.
- Saints' goalie Emma-Sofie Nordstrom ranks second in the nation in Shutouts having earned two on the season to this point.
- St. Lawrence is led by graduate student forward Aly McLeod, who has notched seven points on three goals and four assists.
- The Saints were picked to finish fourth in the 2024-25 ECAC Preseason Coach's Poll, receiving one first place vote and 92 total points in the poll.
