SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Led by head coach, Ruben Resendes in his first year with the program, Bryant has been perfect to start the season with seven-straight wins after a 3-10-1 mark a season ago. The Bulldogs are one of two teams in the country who have yet to allow a goal, and have a +17-goal differential that ranks No. 3 nationally. Marc Pitarch Bayot leads the Bryant attack with four goals, including two game-winning tallies. Inigo Villaldea also has a team-high eight points (3 goals, 2 assists). Antreas Hadjigavriel has earned shutouts in all seven starts this season, posting a total of nine saves.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and Bryant meet for the second time as league foes, and fourth time in series history. The Catamounts are 3-0 against the Bulldogs, including a 4-0 victory at Virtue Field last season in their first meeting as America East counterparts.
Alex Nagy had one goal and two assists to lead UVM in the win. Vermont was victorious in its lone previous trip to Smithfield in 2016, defeating Bryant 3-2 in double overtime on a 102nd-minute goal by Bernard Yeboah.

UNITED SOCCER COACHES RANKINGS
The Catamounts remain in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll for the 14th-straight period, dating back to September 20, 2022. Vermont is the top-ranked America East school at No. 17, one spot ahead of New Hampshire. UVM holds the top spot in the Northeast Region poll, also conducted by the United Soccer Coaches.

Carter Johnson has begun his Catamount career with a team-high eight points (3 goals, 2 assists) through seven games. Johnson has recorded one game-winning goal, coming in the 55th minute against Siena on Tuesday night. The Herriman, Utah native has also posted a team-high 16 shots.

Owen Jack ranks No. 4 nationally with four clean sheets in seven starts this season. He has the fifth-best goals against average (.429) in the country, and ranks No. 2 in America East.
