Vermont and Binghamton meet for the first time since the 2022 America East Semifinals, when the Catamounts earned a thrilling 13-12 victory.
Ava Vasile capped a six-goal game by scoring the winning tally with 7.8 seconds left to send UVM to the championship game for the first time in program history.

Binghamton has secured wins in each of its last five games, including a pair of victories over conference foes UMBC (W, 18-13) and New Hampshire (W, 12-7). Abigail Carroll leads the BU attack with a team-high 29 goals and 36 points. The sophomore ranks No. 7 in America East in goals per game (2.64) and No. 10 in points per game (3.27). Kenna Newman leads the Bearcats with 21 assists this season. Goalkeeper, Emily Manning, ranks No. 3 in the America East in goals against average (11.14), and leads the conference in minutes played (619:33).

Vermont owns a 15-7 all-time record against Binghamton with wins in three of the last four meetings between conference foes. The Catamounts and Bearcats split the season series in 2022. Binghamton edged out Vermont 11-10 in overtime on Virtue Field, but the Catamounts got them back with the 13-12 semifinal victory weeks later.
