SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant enters Saturday's matchup on a two-game winning streak, with a 20-14 victory in its most recent outing at LIU. Skylar Simmonds led the Bulldogs with eight points (5 goals, 3 assists) on 14 shots. Kenna Kaut had six goals in the win, and leads America East with 30 tallies this season. Kaut has the highest scoring average in the country, recording 5.0 goals per game. She is fourth in the nation in points per game (5.67). Sam Centofante has seen the majority of the action in goal for the Bulldogs, posting an 11.81 goals against average and .449 save percentage.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts and Bulldogs meet for the fifth time in series history and the second time in as many seasons. Vermont is 1-3 against Bryant, earning its first win a season ago in Smithfield, R.I. The Cats rallied back from a five-goal deficit to defeat the Bulldogs 17-13. UVM tied its previous single-season wins record with its 12th victory of the 2022 campaign.

AVA'S MILESTONE VS. BRYANT
Ava Vasile recorded a team-high five goals in last year's meeting with Bryant to become the ninth Catamount in program history to reach the 100-career goal mark. Vasile went on to set single-season records in goals (63) and points (79).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jane Trauger received her first America East weekly honor on Monday, when she was named Rookie of the Week. The first-year attacker had a team-high 11 points on eight goals in three assists in Vermont's two victories. Trauger posted five goals and one assist to lead UVM over Harvard (W, 12-7).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Sophie McLaughlin also captured a weekly honor, earning America East Defensive Player of the Week for the first time this season. The graduate student tallied 13 saves in Vermont's victory over Harvard, and added eight saves in the 20-6 win over Siena.

MADDIE'S CAREER HIGH
Maddie Erskine notched a career-high five goals and seven points to lead Vermont in its 20-6 victory over Siena last weekend. The sophomore scored three of her five goals in the first half.
