Men's Basketball Visits Bryant for Final Road Game Saturday

MEN'S BASKETBALL NOTEBOOK
Vermont (18-10, 12-2 AE) heads to Smithfield, R.I. for the final road game of the regular season on Saturday (Feb. 25) at Bryant (17-10, 8-6 AE). Tip-off is slated for 4 p.m. ET at Chace Athletic Center. 
 
BROADCAST INFORMATION
The matchup between the Catamounts and Bulldogs will broadcast live on ESPN+. International fans can watch the game live on AmericaEast.TV. Fans can listen to the game for free on the Vermont Sports Network, from Learfield on The Game, which will air on 97.1 FM in Burlington, 105.9 FM in Plattsburgh, and 960 AM around the rest of the region. The radio broadcast is also available via the Varsity Network App with Brian McLaughlin on the call.

REGULAR SEASON CHAMPS
Vermont clinched its seventh-straight America East Regular Season Title on Wednesday night vs. Binghamton. UVM's streak of seven-straight titles is the second-longest active streak in the country behind Gonzaga (10). Vermont has posted a 98-12 (.891) record in conference play over the last seven seasons.

AMERICA EAST QUARTERFINAL TICKET INFO | Release
The Vermont men's basketball team will host an America East Quarterfinal game at Patrick Gym on Saturday, March 4 at 7 p.m. As the top seed, the Catamounts will face the eighth-seeded team. America East will announce the official tournament bracket after the conclusion of the regular season on Tuesday, February 28. Read the release for information on how to purchase tickets for the game.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant currently sits in a three-way tie with New Hampshire and Binghamton for third place in the America East standings. The Bulldogs have suffered losses in two of their last three games, earning its win against NJIT (W, 79-78) on Wednesday night. Sherif Gross Bullock leads America East with 17.3 points per game on the season. The guard averages a league-best 18.5 points per game in conference play. Charles Pride (15.2 ppg), Antwan Walker (12.8 ppg), and Earl Timberlake (12.1 ppg) also average double figures in league play.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and Bryant meet for the fourth time in series history on Saturday. The Catamounts have a 2-1 edge in the all-time series, and are 1-0 as league counterparts. Vermont defeated Bryant 74-64 on Jan. 5 at Patrick Gym. John Becker earned his program-best 265th win against the Bulldogs.
 
MAKING HISTORY
Robin Duncan will suit up in his 142nd game at Vermont on Saturday, setting the program record for most games played. Duncan tied Cam Ward (2014-2018) in Wednesday's victory over Binghamton.

Kam Gibson needs only three points to reach the 1000-point milestone. Finn Sullivan crossed the 1000-point mark with a late free throw against Binghamton.
 
W10 STREAK
UVM's 10-game winning streak is the fourth-longest active streak in the country, outscoring opponents by 15.0 points per game during that stretch. Vermont has recorded double-digit winning streaks in five of the last seven seasons.
 
FINN DURING THE STREAK
Finn Sullivan has averaged 19.6 points per game during Vermont's nine-game winning streak, which leads America East during that stretch. Sullivan has led the Catamounts in scoring in eight of the 10 wins, and has reached the 20-point mark six times. The San Diego, Calif. native notched a career-high 29 points in Wednesday's victory over Binghamton.
