SWIMMING AND DIVING NOTEBOOK
The Catamounts (5-2, 1-1 AE) look to get back into the win column at Forbush Natatorium against UConn (4-2, 1-1 Big East) on Saturday, December 9 in their annual Rally Against Cancer meet presented by Mascoma Bank. The meet is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. and will be broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV.

RALLY AGAINST CANCER pres. MASCOMA BANK
Saturday's meet will be the Catamounts annual Rally Against Cancer meet presented by Mascoma Bank. Fans are encouraged to wear lavender to Saturday's meet to support cancer awareness.Â

MEET TIMELINE
The Catamounts and Huskies will compete in a 16-event format on Saturday. The meet will begin with the one-meter dive before heading into the first portion of swimming events which includes: the 200 medley relay, 1000 free, 200 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 fly and 50 free. Following the first portion of swimming, the two teams will compete in the three-meter dive before concluding the meet with the final swimming session in the 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, 500 free, 100 fly, 200 IM and the 400 free relay.

REMAINING HOME MEETS
Following Saturday's meet with the Huskies the Catamounts will have one remaining home meet in the 2023-24 season. Vermont will compete with Siena on Saturday January 14 in their annual Senior Day presented by MVP Health Advantage. That meet is slated to start at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
UConn enters the meet with a 4-2 overall record and are 1-1 in Big East competitions this season. The Huskies have victories against Southern Connecticut, Rhode Island and a first place finish at the Bucknell invitational in their non-conference slate. Against the Big East UConn defeated Georgetown (175-125) and came up short in a tough battle with Villanova (154-146). This will be the first ever dual meet matchup between UConn and Vermont.

UP NEXT
Following Saturday's meet with UConn, the Catamounts will have a week off before heading to Miami, Florida where they will participate in the CSCAA Open Water Championships. The Championships are scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 17. The women will begin at 8:00 a.m. followed by the men's portion at 10 a.m. The Catamounts will have
