WOMEN'S HOCKEY NOTEBOOK
After a home win against Northeastern, Vermont heads back on the road for the first time in over three weeks. The Catamounts' first stop will be in Orono, Maine as they take on the Black Bears at 2 p.m. on Friday. Vermont has reclaimed its position as the 13th-ranked team in the country, as per the USCHO Poll, and holds the 14th rank according to the USA Hockey Poll. Impressively, the Catamounts have consistently maintained a spot in the top 15 teams in the nation throughout the entire season thus far.
NATÁLIE MLÝNKOVÁ LEADS HOCKEY EAST
Natálie Mlýnková's total now stands at 12 points in Hockey East play. This achievement marks her as the top conference point generator. She holds the added distinction of leading the conference with an impressive 1.20 points per game. Mlýnková is also tied for second in conference scoring with eight goals this season.
PRECISION PUCKSÂ
With a shooting percentage of 12.7%, Vermont is second among all of Division I. Despite being outshot by 64 shots, the Cats have maximized their opportunities, scoring 39 goals on just 307 shots.Â

DEFENSIVE STOPPERS
Vermont stands out as the leader in blocked shots within Hockey East, tallying an impressive total of 244. This places them third nationwide in this category.
Sara Levesque holds the top spot in Division I with an outstanding 44 blocks for the season, while
Krista Parkkonen secures the fifth spot nationally with 35 blocked shots this year.
ATTENDANCE RECORD RESET
Vermont broke the Hockey East home attendance record for the second straight year on November 10, smashing the previous record of 2,210. A whopping 2,705 fans attended Saturday's Pack the Gut Challenge game presented by the Windjammer against 15th-ranked Boston College.

SCOUTING THE BLACK BEARS
After an extended break, Maine returns to action, having previously faced Vermont on November 17 and 18. Ida Kuoppala played a pivotal role, scoring three goals across the two games and securing wins for Maine with scores of 3-0 and 3-2.

Kuoppala currently holds the top spot in overall Hockey East scoring, boasting an impressive 13 goals and leading in points with 18 for the season. Ann Frederique-Guay closely follows in second place with 11 goals this year. Julia Bachetti served as the starting goaltender in both of Maine's recent matchups against UVM, making 45 saves over the weekend and maintaining a solid .913 save percentage.

New Hampshire enters Saturday's matchup following a 3-0 Victory over Harvard on November 21. Brooke Hammer contributed two goals and an assist for the Wildcats while Sedona Blair delivered her second shutout of the season.

Kira Juodikis is the leading scorer for New Hampshire with eight goals and seven assists, totaling 15 points for the season, ranking her fourth in the conference. Shea Verrier has also notched double-digit points on the year with four goals and six assists. Blair boasts a .912 save percentage while only allowing 2.39 goals per game.

Vermont trails in the all-time series against New Hampshire with a record of 21-30-8. The two teams have already clashed twice this season, with UVM claiming both games 6-3 and 2-1 in overtime.
