SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth enters Tuesday's matchup ranked second in the Ivy League standings, one point behind first-place Harvard. The Big Green opened league play with two wins, but are winless in October with an 0-2-1 mark. One of those losses came against America East's Bryant (L, 3-1) at home. Dartmouth most recent outing resulted in a 1-1 draw at Columbia on Friday. Vasilis Moiras has 11 points through nine games this season to lead the Big Green attack. Costi Christodoulou returns as Dartmouth's goalkeeper for his junior season, posting a 1.64 goals against average and .710 save percentage in 11 starts.

Vermont and Dartmouth have met 44 times in series history, with the Catamounts recording a 14-23-7 mark. The Catamounts have currently won two of their last three matchups against Dartmouth, including a dominant 3-0 victory at Virtue Field a season ago.

Yaniv Bazini was named America East Co-Offensive Player of the Week after tallying one goal and one assist in Saturday's 5-0 victory at Binghamton. Bazini currently leads America East in scoring with three goals against league foes. The forward's seven points also leads the conference.

Vermont's five goals against Binghamton on Saturday were its highest output since Oct. 29, 2019 against Holy Cross (W, 5-1). The five-goal margin was UVM's first since Oct. 3, 1998 against McGill (W, 5-0). The Catamounts last scored five goals against an America East opponent on Oct. 4, 2008 against Stony Brook (W, 5-1).

CATS JUMP IN RPI
Vermont jumped up seven spots to No. 8 in the NCAA RPI Rankings after its 5-0 win over Binghamton. The Catamounts are the highest-rated America East school, ahead of New Hampshire (No. 15) and Bryant (No. 23). America East is rated as the sixth-toughest league among the 23 NCAA Division I conferences sponsoring men's soccer.

The Catamounts retook first place in the America East standings over the weekend with its victory over Binghamton, and NJIT and UMBC suffering losses. Vermont (9 pts.) has a two-point cushion over the Highlanders and Retrievers.
