The Catamounts host the league's yearly ESPNU game for the second consecutive season. Robert Lee and Tim McCormick will lead the broadcast. John Becker can pass Tom Brennan for the most wins in program history with a victory over Bryant on Thursday night. Becker checked off his 264th win on Jan. 1 against UMBC to tie Brennan. Becker can also earn his 150th win in America East play with a victory.

John Becker during his Vermont tenure. He is a combined 82-13 in the first month of the New Year, including a 47-3 mark in the last seven seasons.

Thursday's matchup is between the America East Preseason No. 1 & No. 2. UVM is the America East preseason favorite for the sixth time in the last seven seasons. Vermont sits atop the preseason poll for the eighth time under

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant brings a two-game winning streak into Burlington, with wins over Towson (W, 69-59) and Binghamton (W, 82-78). Sherif Gross-Bullock leads the Bulldogs' attack with 17.0 points per game and 3.4 assists per game. The guard was named America East Player of the Week after scoring 29 points against Binghamton. Earl Timberlake (15.7 ppg), Charles Pride (14.5 ppg), and Antwan Walker (13.0 ppg) also average double figures. Walker was teammates with Catamount forward
Ileri Ayo-Faleye at Rhode Island last season. Bryant plays fast, ranking No. 1 nationally in adjusted tempo. The Bulldogs were Northeast Conference champions last season prior to joining America East.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts and Bulldogs meet for only the third time in series history on Thursday night. The all-time series is tied up at 1-1, with each team recording home wins. Dre Wills led Vermont to a 73-47 victory over Bryant in 2014 at Patrick Gym.
