INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and UAlbany meet in the America East Tournament for the second consecutive season. The Catamounts suffered a 17-8 loss in the 2021 America East Semifinals, in UVM's first tournament appearance since 2015. Vermont looks to avenge that loss, as well as a 12-10 loss in Burlington this season on Apr. 2. The Catamounts held a 10-8 lead to enter the fourth quarter, before a 4-0 run by the Great Danes.
Â
SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES

Â
AVA IN THE RECORD BOOK
Junior midfielder,Â
Ava Vasile has put up historic numbers for Vermont this season. Vasile is the first Catamount to score at least 50 goals in a single-season since Jessica Roach did in 2015. Her 59 goals this season rank No. 3 on the program's single-season list. Vasile also became the ninth player in program history to reach the 100-goal milestone. The Milford, Mass. native has 75 points this season, which ranks No. 2 on the program's single-season list. Vasile needs three goals and five points to set the single-season records in both categories.Â
